Well, after letting lebaige.com sit idle for months, I’ve finally renewed work on the site. What’s been done? A complete change from the ground up. Now, I liked the old setup, and believe me I put a TON of work into getting it the way I want it. Unfortunately the problem is what I just said .. it was a TON of work. Who has time for that?
Gone is .. well .. everything that was here before. We’re now running on the very easy to use blogging software WordPress. Instead of the two months it took me to get the old site up and running, this one took me about two hours. Sure, I didn’t custom design this one much, but I think my nerd ego can handle the bruise of using someone elses work once it realizes how much free time it now has to devote to other nerdly persuits.
I moved the website to a new host, which I must say has been a huge improvement from the provider we were using before. We’re now faster, we have more storage capacity, we have more control, and most importantly, everything works.
Also changed is the general focus of the website. My original plan was for lebaige.com to serve as a portal for the entire family. I’ve since then realize that outside of my home, most LeBaige’s don’t really have much of a need for an internet portal. The site is now going to be more of a focus on my little chunk of the family.
Finally, keep in mind, I’m never really done with something like this. As usual, feedback is welcome.

This is really great, Bryan. Can you put all of your other pictures on here too or do you just want to start from now and add as you go? I absolutely love your Vegas pictures. I assume you both took them and they are REALLY interesting. I would love to see that Fire Valley myself. And your bike ride looks great.
Have you emailed the rest of the family units to advise of the new website? You should. They will love your photos too. How about more of the boys, now. LIke your camping and fishing and walks and such.
I’ve already uploaded a bunch of different pictures .. click on the Gallery button up top and nose around, there’s a bunch in there, including the aforementioned camping pictures. I’m not sure how far back I’m going to go, it depends on free time I guess which is in pretty short supply at the moment.
