I finally got around to converting and uploading the video I took a couple weeks ago of our house. Things have just been so busy around here, fixing and installing and working and what not, that it kind of got pushed down the priorities list. None the less, here it is now!

In other news, it’s tax time, so as usual we’re splurging on new toys we don’t need. I have the computer back up and running, and through a combination of clever ebaying of the old stuff that still worked and the payment we received from the movers I’ve built a completely new computer and spent basically nothing out of pocket. We’ve also revamped our speaker system in the living room. Out with the old Best Buy Home Theater in a Box we bought years ago, in with some brand new speakers from Axiom Audio and a ridiculously large subwoofer from SVSound. I haven’t received the speakers yet, but the sub arrived the other day and um .. it’s a bit larger than I thought it was. In fact, nearly twice as large. It’s a huge cylinder as compared to the traditional box style, and actually hides pretty well directly behind the television. The thing has to be about four feet tall though, I was taken aback when I unboxed it. Riki just kind of laughed. It’s pretty freakin sweet though, the entire room rumbled when it really gets going. The scary part is this is their entry level model ..

Other than that, things are fairly normal now. I finally hooked up the television in the basement which the boys are enjoying, and have everything upstairs running which Riki and I are enjoying. I still have a few cables to run around the house but it’s just about done. We’re planning on having a house warming party next weekend, we’ll see what happens!
